Wildlife and environmental crime is of increasing concern across the globe. With millions of dollars of profits being made each year there is a huge incentive for those previously involved in organised crime to become involved in this type of crime.

The potential damage to the planet and the alarming rate at which wildlife is disappearing is of great concern to many people. Added to this particularly in developing nations is the loss of potential revenue from tourism.
